Mata, the Maths Recovery Programme, is being rolled out extensively as part of the Department of Education’s DEIS initiatives (Delivering Equality of Opportunity in Schools) as one of the key actions to improve numeracy outcomes. Maths Recovery specialists and classroom teachers in the relevant schools will be trained in the principles and practices of Maths Recovery.
DEIS Schools
MR Training is currently available to Urban Band 1 and 2 schools in the Department of Education’s DEIS initiative.
